Spring Birds & Blooms

The theme at the CD Sunday Challenge Blog is All About Spring … and after all the time I have spent shoveling snow this winter … I could use a little Spring.

My card is A Shaped Card from The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady CD-ROM by Crafter's Companion, which is filled with lovely Spring images.  The beautiful Raspberry designer paper wraps around the back of the card as well.  I added a layer of yellow cardstock to the inside for a bit of contrast.  Growing-up in Missouri, the dogwood blooms were one of the first harbingers of Spring.

I added a circle sentiment from Sentimentals Love is All You Need and a wrap of Spectrum Noir Dyed Seam Binding (the tutorial can be seen here).

With my detail cutting of the shaped card, I'm also joining the Clever Cutting Challenge at Cute Card Thursday.  I'm also joining the Digital Challenge at One Stitch At a Time.
