There were beautiful new Embossing Folders Released at Crafter's Companion today … and Kraft Cardstock! Yay!
My folder is called Silhouette Lane … such a peaceful design. For the first card, I embossed Core'dinations Chocolate Box cardstock and then sanded away (I use a foam sanding block from the hardware store).
I added a few Tim Holtz Word Stickers for a simple, peaceful design.
For my second card I used pink Core'dinations cardstock which I sanded … and then sponged on some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink for a bit more contrast.
The final touch was to spray on some Pink Iridescent Spray & Sparkle … at this angle you can see the glittery sparkle a bit better.
A sticker sentiment finished the design. I love that these folders are large 5×7 designs to cover the entire card front … and there's a sale if you're interested in having all 8 of them.
Two terrific cards! Lovely emb design. I especially love the brown card as the distressed coloring on the brown makes me think of a vintage patina. 🙂
