We're still celebrating text at Jingle Belles this week. I went searching through some vintage Christmas Ideals Magazines for inspiration. My Gran always had Ideals on her coffee table, and I remember thumbing through them for hours when I was young.
I found this wonderful poem about friends and Christmas and decided to make it the focal point of my design using the layout from Feeling Sketchy.
I used strips of the snowy landscape from the same page for my banner flags and finished with blue sequins and a Peace sticker.
I'm also joining the Winter Blues Challenge at Frosted Designs.
And they're celebrating a Blue Christmas at Christmas Cards All Year 'Round.
