This week at Jingle Belles we're celebrating by creating cards inspired by our favorite holiday traditions … a prompt idea suggested by the talented Marie Bingaman.
One of my favorite traditions was decorating the tree each year. We'd head to the Christmas Tree farm to cut down the perfect tree … then once it was in the Christmas Tree stand, we'd go into the basement to retrieve the boxes of ornaments and holiday lights and spend our evening listening to Christmas music & decorating the tree.
My card combines papers and a beautiful chipboard ornament from Basic Grey's 25th & Pine Collection.

Very nice holiday card! Like the colors and the ornament looks great. Glad you have happy Christmas memories. 🙂
Ooooo, Stef, a card in my favorite color!! I love your holiday tradition story….so sweet! Thanks for letting me be your guest this week! 🙂
i.love.this.
I had that collection in my basket the last time I was at Impress…grrrr…
Gorgeous card and I do love ornaments, too. I have put up one of my two trees already and loaded it with ornaments. It is a little early but had to get done very soon.
I love the holiday traditions challenge and love reading about the traditions.
