This week at Jingle Belles we're celebrating all things vintage … create a holiday card using
genuine vintage ingredients like old book paper, vintage ideals magazines,
antique lace, old buttons, etc. or use new items that incorporate a vintage style.
I started with my collection of vintage items, and settled on a vintage holiday card from my stash. Since it had *from the three of us* on the front, I scanned it, so I could remove those words (and keep the fun & quirky snowman trio). At resale shops & flea markets, I always search for vintage paper designs with great illustrations and colors like this one.
I matted it on coordinating red cardstock and added a sentiment from Crafter's Companion Christmas Magic (an awesome set of holiday sentiments). I love that my card is vintage, but still embraces a clean & simple design.
Also, if you click on over to Jingle Belles, there are some vintage goodies for you to download and use … as well as a chance to win an awesome bag of vintage goodies from Lauren's Just Enough Stuff Store.
I'm also joining the Snowman Challenge at the Weekly Christmas Card challenge.

This is darling. Love the retro look you accomplished. Brings back memories of my childhood! This is wonderful.
