Bowling Scrapbook

A friend asked me if I could turn a few tiny newspaper clippings of her grand daughter's bowling scores into a scrapbook.  I found this adorable digital scrapbooking kit called Spare Me by Libby Pritchett from Sweet Shoppe Designs and went to town.

First I started by scanning the tiny clippings at a high resolution, so i could enlarge them for my 6×6" scrapbook pages.  Grandma had written the dates on them, which I edited out in photoshop, but I left the underlines she had done for her grand daughter's name.

I used primarily the solid background papers and added the fun elements to the pages.  I also used the numbers that came with the kit to add the date.

There were several frames included in the kit that I used to frame the scores. I was also able to rotate the pins to make them look like they were falling.

I think the You Bowl Me Over Graphics would make an adorable card.

And I loved the colors and fun retro feel of the designs.

Once I decided on the general feel to my designs, the pages came together quickly.  Hopefully both she and her grand daughter will enjoy it.
