At the PaperTrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge they're celebrating Betsy Veldman's fantastic Chalkboard Tehcnique. I've been intrigued by the technique since I first saw it, but today I made some time to actually give it a try.
Thankfully the technique is fogiving for messy white powder embossers (i.e. me) and I love the finished effect. I used stamps from four different sets for my subway-like art design ~ Sentiment Signs, Mailbox Greetings, Heart Prints (highlighted with some pink colored pencil), Signature Greetings,

It really is quite the forgiving technique…if you look at the card I posted today, I actually swiped a baby wipe across 2 of the words because I didn’t like the white ink..it gave me vertigo…it was too far to the right of the embossed word….
LOVE what you’ve done!
GREAT-looking chalkboard card! Like the added pink on the hearts. I love the way on some areas, the print remains under the “erased” chalk I haven’t tried that but I will. Waaay cool! 🙂
Really chalkboard-like. Fun hearts too.
This is great, it looks so realistic! Love your layout!
Love all the sentiments you used and the touch of pink on the heart!
Lovely card.
Love the hint of color.
