This card is for the Sunday Sketch Challenge at Studio Calico. I used two sets of Studio Calico Stamps ~ I Love Books & Airmail (including cutting an acrylic stamp into parts to use only one word … perfect for the Sentiment Challenge at Shopping our Stash)~ together with papers from Take Note & Classic Callico Collection, including a texty page to go with the reading theme … and the woodgrain papers that remind me of the bookshelves in the library.
I colored the sky on my bookplate image with colored pencils, blending with a soft eraser. To represent the journey that you take when you read a good book, I added three different modes of travel depicted in wood veneer accents … Reading is a True Adventure.
