Did you ever see a card that inspires you so much, you drop everything you are doing and start playing with paper? That's what happened to me when I saw this fabulous star-filled card from Lauren this afternoon (she inspires me every day, but today even moreso).
The circles in the Two Peas Saturday Sketch reminded me of a few Basic Grey What's Up Flair Buttons I still had in my stash … the diagonal lines in the sketch too reminded me of Washi tape (9 different ones for the Paper Crafts Connection Washi Tape Challenge), so that's where my design began.
In the end I only ended-up using one of the flair buttons, but I did use lots of the other What's Up? Chipboard and embellishment pieces I had. I also added buttons … and of course some stars and sparkle (as an homage to Lauren's original inspiration & the City Crafter Challenge). I finished with several buttons from my button bowl (digging through my bowl hunting for treasurers reminds me of going through my Grandma's buttons, which makes me smile).
I feel like I channeled my *inner Lauren* pretty well on this one … and I love the results (and find it amusing that what I would consider a *minimalist* design for her inspired a *maximist* design from me).
oooOoOoOOOoooohhh!!! how ♥AWESOME♥ is this? and yes, too funny, that whereas i PLANNED to do this and wound up (for me!) pretty minimal and YOU did everything i imagined INCLUDING the washi tapes??!?! love♥LOVE♥love this… so much so… that i’m not jealous even tho i’m pretty sure that your inner lauren is A LOT cooler than mine, lol!!! ♥♥♥

Wow, what a terrific card! You utilized washi tape to the max on your super design. Great colors and patterns. Cool plane and featuring the cityscape in the circle looks good. You nailed Kimber’s sketch, one I would have never even tried. Hee! 🙂
