Today we went in search of Scraps Galore in Albuquerque … and as usual (when I'm driving), after several wrong turns, we finally found it nestled in a shopping center on Jefferson.

It's a nice sized store with well-arranged inventory by collection & theme.

They had a wide selection of 6" paper pads, which as a cardmaker, I always appreciate. They also had the fun new Snap! products.

The employee running the store was prepping for a card class this weekend, so I had to go take a peek at the large classroom space.

They also had a wide selection of Reminisce products which always makes me smile … the owner of Reminisce was one of my main inspirations for falling in love with paper crafting (when she owned her retail store) … now it makes me sad that I have to travel all over the country to find her fun papers and stickers because I can't get them at retailers in Iowa where they are designed. I picked-up fun Rockstar and Retrobot papers.
They also had a huge selection of die cuts.

And the helpful store employee was also gracious enough to take my photo to preserve the memory.

So if you're ever in the area, make sure you stop in and check it out.

PS – and while you're there, you can stop in to eat at Torino's @ Home (the #1 rated restaurant in Albuquerque on TripAdvisor), which is just a few shops down in the same center … we did and enjoyed a fantastic lunch.
