Tonight's card is one that I think would have been better if I had given-up on trying to complete a challenge, and gone with what seemed more natural … I had a heck-of-a-time fitting in the light pink color for this week's ColourQ Challenge.

I should have just let it go and stuck with the other three colors that seemed to work in greater harmony in my design.

I was thrilled that this card got a Shout-Out Tweet on the Hero Arts blog, so I went with a similar design using one of the August Hero Arts Sketches (together with some Clean & Simple Stamping).
It also works for the Freestyle Challenge at A Blog Named Hero. The sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts Heyday Thoughts with the Leaf and Flower Background inked in three colors.

What a gorgeous card, I love the gradient panel. Thank you so much for joining us at the colourQ.
Beautiful card, Steph, your pink worked in well, but the center panel is a showpiece for sure! Thanks for sharing your card with us this week at the ColourQ.
Great take on the color challenge. Like the way you worked your focal stamp! One of my fav things to do is to multi-ink a stamp. 🙂
