When I saw the Hard Core Crop Challenge at June's blog, I decided to give it a try. I love Core'dinations cardstock & had a brand new package of the Distress Collection in need of some embossing.
Challenge #9 was to choose something from Pinterest to inspire your design. I chose this amazing Rainbow Set of cards from Court's Crafts. I loved the blocked design and clean font.
I used my new Flowers #2 Embossing folder and a sanding block. I swapped the twine for some silk ribbon in a complementary color, rather than monochromatic, and moved the bow to the other side to help balance the sentiment placement.
The simple sentiment is from Hero Arts Big Hugs.
