Since my husband and I both have a rather goofy sense of humor, I wanted to make a quirky card for the Stamp It! Love Card Challenge at the Moxie Fab World Blog … and when these fun Monster Mash stamps arrived from newly-discovered company The Alley Way, my idea came together.
Having a full day of mid-week stamping was a treasured treat … love it! I paper-pieced my little imaginary friend using hues from this week's ColorQ Challenge. I was thrilled to find some vintage American Crafts Ribbon in my stash in just the perfect colors … and the embossed Tim Holtz Swirls seemed like the perfect backdrop for my cute little guy.
The sketch is from a new-to-me blog (discovered via the talented June Houck) … Artful Delight.
