I've never made an actual wall-banner, but I have made a few banner cards. Here's my first one from January 2009.
This was for a Moxie Fab World Banner Challenge … the letter flags reminded me of Tibetan prayer flags. This rahter large card was displayed in my studio for a long time as a source of inspiration.
