I’m Dreaming of a Pink Christmas (and a Cure)

About a year ago, when Lauren & I started brain-storming ideas for our Jingle Belles Holiday Card Blog, one of the prompts we knew we'd want to do during the year was a Pink Christmas.  She & I both love Pink holiday cards, so we thought October was the perfect time to "Go Pink" in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Jingle Belles (aka Lauren & I) will be donating $2.00 for each card linked-up to our prompt this week to the Susan G. Koman for the Cure Fund.

I decided to go with a deep pink for my holiday design using Julia's World Card Making Day Sketch from Ellen Hutson's CLASSRoom.

Papers are Authentique's Uncommon Collection & sentiments are EAD Designs Stickerz.  I used my circle cutter to cut out a thin circle from ivory cardstock for the central design element.

I punched two nordic snowflaes from gold glitter paper and then layered a third snowflake on top from gold shimmer paper.  I finished with two pink gems.

So join us this week … to continue to work toward a cure … and spread a ltitle pink holiday love.

  1. Absolutely gorgeous!! I really like the deep pink papers – so elegant and the black greeting looks so dramatic against the pink. Love the accent snowflakes! Wonderful card.
