This is my Clean & Simple Sketch FAIL card. I realized when I finished it for this week's Jingle Belles Prompt Sketch, that it was neither clean, nor simple … and had no stamping (although I realized later they don't require stamping to link up with them).
Oh well, I still love it, so I wanted to share it … and it's one more holiday card in my stash.
I started with the Basic Grey Felt snowman sticker and pulled my colors from him. I added a few stickers (tiny hearts & caroling glitter text), an EAD Rub-on sentiment, snowflakes (positive & negative) and bits of bling. I embossed my large circle with ornaments and added some Barn Red ink.
His little face always makes me smile.
This card is also for the August Challenge at Christmas Cards All Year 'Round which is to use four items from a list (mine has inking, textured paper, rub-on sentiment, and metal embellishments {snowman arms}) … as well as Crafty Hazelnut who is celebrating anything goes.
Remember you have until 6pm EST on Wednesday to join in our Clean & Simple Stamping Sketch prompt at Jingle Belles for a chance to win some fun holiday goodies.
