I got a shout-out at The Paper Players last week, so I wanted to play along again this week with their Christmas in July Challenge.
When I saw June's fantastic holiday card using this week's Mojo Monday Sketch, I knew I wanted to use that sketch as my layout. I also incorporated the colors (Red, Pink & Neutral) from this week's CR84FN's Color Challenge.
I used a combination of papers, stickers and a journaling card from Echo Park's Everybody Loves Christmas collection. I always save the cover sheet that comes with the collection, because there is a tiny sample strip of each paper with a shrunk-down pattern (which is perfect for cards). You can see the regular size peppermint candy shapes on the right & the smaller size from the packaging on the left. I also used the tiny snowflakes strip.
I stamped Hero Arts Magical Background in Warm Red ink on Pink Cardstock … Ho Ho Ho … another holiday card done. This card would also work for the Stars *OR* Stripes Prompt at Jingle Belles … you have until 6pm EST on Wednesday to link-up with us.
