Floral Celebration

I decided to give this week's CAS-ual Friday Recipe Challenge a try.  I went with the center vertical row – gems, die cuts & flowers.

I also used the colors from this week's CR84FN Challenge & Chupa's Sketchbook Saturday Layout.

I die cut the flourishes from thin chipboard and sponged them with distress ink.  The Tattered Florals were die cut from a piece of two-sided K&Company Glitter paper.  I finished with an SRM Sticker Sentiment and pink gems.  It reminds me of the boutonnière in the inspiration photo.  The base is hand-made paper embedded with pieces of grass.

  1. I’ll have to check out this challenge site. I love this card; it’s clean and crisp but has such a feminine feel and the perfect amount of bling! Beautiful.
