I was feeling a bit inspired by Godelieve today … we'll, that's pretty much how I feel every time I skip over to her blog … but I decided to take direct inspiration from her Sunday Scraps and see what I could pull together from my scrap bin, which is currently overflowing.
I keep my cardstock organized by color in a hanging file folder crate, but my designer paper scraps all just go into a 12" square basket, which is now exceeding its capacity.
I decided to work with this week's CR84FN Color Challenge, so I searched through my basket for any yellows, golds or krafts.
Next, I went with this week's Twisted Sketch, which has a theme of Shine, which I thought worked well with all of these golden hues.
I found a scrap that had the Friend Definition stamped on gold, so that is where I began my design. I added Hero Arts Scalloped Border stamped in creamy brown on a scrap of pale yellow.
I cut a small strip from a piece of floral print DP and finished with a Prima Kraft Bloom, a scrap of pearl flourish, and a sentiment from Live & Laugh (love the nice strong fonts in this set) … and voila, a little bit of scrap magic.

Stef, I LOVE how you searched through your scraps and came up with this! FAB card! LOVE all the text and scallops and your flower! THX for playing with us at CR84FN this week!
