When I saw this week's Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger … the porch reminded me of a place where you'd sit with your oldest & dearest friends, drinking iced tea, and laughing at life.
Unfortunately, many of my oldest & dearest friends are hundreds of miles away, so the only reminiscing we get to do is through phone calls & e-mail. And one of my dearest friends is currently undergoing radiation treatment for breast cancer … and cancer sucks … especially when you're hundreds of miles away.
So instead I will send her a card inspired by this porch … and filled with love and strength and hope … for a full recovery.
I detail cut the frame from a Hambly transparency & backed it with red cardstock. The chairs in the frame are cut from a Mary Englebright gift card I found in the $1 bin at Michael's. The yellow paper is Cosmo Cricket's DeLovely (some of the best yellow patterned paper ever made) and the sentiment is Hero Arts. I changed-up the blue in the colorcombination a bit to work with the blue chair in my frame.
Hey Stef! What a beautiful approach to this week’s Tuesday Trigger in the Moxie Fab World! Thanks so much for playing along! 🙂
LOVE your take on the Trigger, Stef! Wonderful frame and the chairs are beautiful:)
