Thursday Link Love

Another fun week of skipping around the blogosphere:

  • This punchy little owl card & coordinating treat holder make me smile (and also make me want to break out that owl punch which has yet to see paper).
  • Love the texture of these pillows made from thrift store sweaters.
  • This adorable little mini-card makes me want to break out my border punches & scrap paper and go to town … love it!
  • The texture of this cardboard scrapbook page makes me swoon … I want to reach out and touch it.
  • IMG_0072 copyA tutorial for a gorgeous paper cone wreath (picture shown) … how cute would these be to give as Valentine's Day gifts.
  • I want to get my hands on this adorable We R Memory Keepers Be My Valentine papers … I love that they do the four square designs on one side of the 12" papers … so perfect for card makers.
  • I want to make one of these Pebble Mats, so I can use it for a grouping of candles … might be a good project to play with the next time I'm hanging out with my sister.
  • A tutorial for making your own Collector's Shelf (Dad are you reading … might be a future project … hint hint).
  • I would love to have a piece of this fabulous up-cycled suitcase furniture.
  • A tutorial for wonderful ribbon flowers … I have got to try these.
  • This Baked Oatmeal sounds so warm and satisfying … and the best news is you can put it together the night before, pop it into the oven (or toaster oven) while you're taking a shower, and have a warm breakfast in no time.  And if you're like me and try to moderate your carbohydrate intake, here are more yummy breakfast possibilities.
  • A very clever idea for freezing portions of left-over soup … and another clever idea for transporting soup to the office … and I've been trying to decide on some cool soup bowls with handles like these, or these … or the stunning color of these.
  • If you eat cookies made with sweet potatoes, does it count as a vegetable?
  • Love this cute little Valentine poster download … and so many fun ideas for how to use it.
