Tonight I made a sympathy card inspired by this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge, which was a Color Splash of Yellow.
Once again, Pink Paislee's Queen Bee papers come through for me. I combined the greys and a splash of yellow with a sketch from Just Add Ink.
I used the EK Success Fleur de Lis border punch along the edge and two of the punched out Fleur de Lis (topped with tiny A Muse twinkle gems) to frame my sentiment.

I haven’t bought those papers yet, but they are gorgeous, and you’ve used them beautifully here. A great choice for a sympathy card, they can be so tricky to get right. Thanks for playing along with us in the PDCC this week!
Oh WOW! These papers are BEAUTIFUL and that sentiment is stellar! I just LOVE this card!
Beautiful. Sympathy cards are so hard to do, especially with those colours! You’ve done a fabulous job. Thanks for playing at Just Add Ink!
gorgeous!!! love it !
Another StUnNiNg ‘splash’ from you Steph! Merry Christmas from The Play Date Cafe.
A lovely, very regal, sympathy card. Thanks for joining in with the sketch at Just Add Ink.
I don’t know what is wrong with me lately but just reading the words made me a bit emotional, but so true and such a lovely card to go with the beautiful words. Great job.
This is gorgeous. Love the colours and great punch!
Thanks for playing with JAI
