I loved this week's Play Date Cafe inspiration art work by Bonnie Rose of A Life Unrehearsed, so I wanted to play along … such fabulous colors.
First I started by coming spray inks in those colors to try to mimic her background, but it was a bit to heavy on color to work with several images I tried, so I moved on to another plan.
I stamped Hero Arts Stunning Snowflakes in Ocean ink on a piece of purple and blue Memory Box DP and clear embossed. The Inkadinkado snowman was stamped in Ocean on another piece of Memory Box DP together with a sentiment from A Muse.
As I thought about what to use to finish the design of this week's CPS Sketch, I came back to my sprayed page, which turned out to be the perfect source for my flourish of punched snowflakes.
This card is also for the Snow Much Fun Challenge at Daring Cardmakers.
And right now I have lots of real snowflakes falling in big wet clumps outside my window … welcome winter.
