The final challenge in this month of Fashion at Gingersnap Creations it the Color Challenge. For this one we're celebrating Vintage Hues. It's time for all those browns, burgundys, vintage greens – you get the picture! If it makes it looks vintage, it's the right color.
The new Artistic Outpost Jane's Countryside images were the perfect stamps for this Vintage-themed challenge. I stamped this Edwardian lady and her house on a book page in Artprint Brown and colored it with blue, green and rich brick red Prismacolor pencils. I added some Distress inks around the edges to add a bit more of a vintage touch to my already aged book page.
So break out those vintage colors and show us your vintage card design.
G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S!!!
the stamping on the book page is really giving the card an amazing look..
it is a fact, universally acknowledged, that a card, made by stef w/AO images, must be AUTOMATICALLY FABULOUS!!! (ok, i slightly paraphrased ms. austen then, but clearly some serious historical praise was called for!) ♥
love the stamping on the book page – have tried it with butterflies and it’s so fun. btw – i made the caramel apple cranberry crisp from last week’s link – oh my is it every yummy! a definite keeper and very easy to make. happy thanksgiving!
