For All the Little Things You Do

Great Pumpkins Life has gotten in the way of my studio time this week, and I sure have missed it.  That, combined with the time change, has had me a bit off kilter.  It felt good to get a little ink on my fingers tonight.

I decided to start with this week's Tuesday Trigger, Great Pumpkins from Martha Stewart, as my inspiration.  I loved the rich oranges, yellows and greens, as well as the theme of being thankful.

I started with a piece of gorgeous piece of DCWV Safari Chic Jungle paper in gorgeous autumn hues & decided to use the wonderful Thanks sentiment from Paper Inspirations.

Next, I took my inspiration from this week's CASE Study, a fabulous card by Heather Pulvirenti.

I went with the long-tall sketch and used some verigated autumn-hued wired ribbon to add a ruffled accent to my card.  I accented it with a pretty little orange rosette bloom that reminded me of the flowers in the Pumpkin picture.

A little distressing and inking and I called it good … so thankful for the chance to have some time to create tonight.

TGIF!
