I needed another girly birthday card, so I combined the Embellish Color Challenge (oops, just realized you had to make a bag with those colors … light pink, dark pink, grey & black … I'll have to try again later) with this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch.
The pink papers are from My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy Tickled Pink collection & the die cut is Tim Holtz Ornamental. I'm not sure why my ribbon almost looks neon in the photograph (it's Pink Carnation by Close to My Heart) … I assure you under normal light it looks like a match for the darker pink in the background paper, but under the photo lights, not so much.
The sentiment is one of my "go-to" sentiment stamps … Birthday Joy Calligraphy by Paper Inspirations. The Butterflies are punched from Basic Grey Scarlet's Letter DP and embellished with A Muse pink gems.
This card is also for the Scrappy Saturday Birthday Bash.
Love the sweet dots, butterflies, and ribbon! Thanks for playing at Wee Memories this week!
