I celebrated World Card Making Day by doing my favorite thing … hanging out in my studio … watching shows I recorded on the DVR, and of course … making cards.
I decided to use today to make some cards for some much over-do correspondence. This gorgeous paper was sent to me by one of my dearest friends all the way from Finland … and I am way overdo in sending her a thank you.
I love that this gorgeous paper combines one of my favorite color combinations – aqua, chocolate and ivory – which are also the colors for this week's Off the Wall Craftiness Challenge. Also, the challenge at the Hero Arts blog for WCMD is to make a card using your favorite colors.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts Big Hugs (love that font). I stamped a few butterflies from the set on the gorgeous background paper and as an accent for my sentiment. This sketch is this week's Fall To Layout #110 from the Clean & Simple Blog.
Happy World Card Making Day!

i think WCMD is the only saturday of the entire year on which i DID NOT make a card…yeah…i’m a rebel!!! (of course if i had see THIS THING on that day i would have rushed to my stash and tried to assemble something half as wonderful using cream, chocolate and aqua! is it too late to do so *NOW*??!?!) ) 🙂 🙂
