Here's another week of fun finds from across the blogosphere:
- Love this tutorial for a very cool braided ribbon technique … and the end-result headband is adorable too.
- Some ideas for an easy recipe binder … I not only keep my recipes in clear sheet protectors in three ring notebooks, I also keep pages I've torn out of magazines with exercise routines & ideas, as well as one filled with inspiration photos & card ideas.
I'm always on the lookout for cool new fonts to add to my collection … here are 30 new ones.- Black & White Cookies are one of my favorites … but they are alway so BIG … I love this recipe for some Mini Black & White Cookies … perfect little bites.
- How about a fun tutorial for a punched circle Christmas tree … this would be great small sized for an ornament or larger size to hang on your front door.
- A tutorial for sewing an adorable patchwork wristlet … perfect for holding lip balm (says the lip balm addict in me) or so many other little things … I love the fabrics she combines.
- Tomatoes … I do love tomatoes … and here are twelve wonderful recipes to features summer's bounty.
- Gotta try and get my hands on the Summer Dream stack from DCWV … those colors speak to me … and I love this fun paper project that showcases … you guessed it … paper.
- Love this tutorial for a balloon wreath … this would be great in wedding colors, holiday colors, you name it.
- And when you need a special gift card holder … how about a cupcake … seriously cute idea with a link to a video tutorial.
- Another fabric flower tutorial … this one heat-curls the edges for a very unique look.
- Made these Cherry Chocolate Cookie Bars again this week … they are a keeper, especially with the Ghirardelli baking chips & dried cherries from Aldi's (they carry great dried fruit).
- And lastly, Indie Fixx has a round up of free printables that include a very cute owl gift box.
Happy Thursday!
I love these Thursday links–I finally have time to leave a comment (and it’s Friday)….but either way–I JUST love that we visit the same blogs;) LOVE that paper welcome project! SO pretty:} If you make one–be sure to share it with us!! LOVE LOVE LOVE visiting here!
“Ditto” to the comment above. I never comment on any blog but I want you to know how much I LOVE your Thursday links. I work long hours at a full-time job and I don’t have much time to surf the web on my own. You have expanded my horizons so much. I love Thursdays! Thanks so much.
said wristlet would totally slow down access in a chapstick emergency…but admittedly it’s very VERY cute…it could perhaps hold a BACK UP chapstick and some $ to purchase a back up back up chapstick…in case we fall on hard times!!! 🙂
