One of the Highest Delights of Life

Sue's 52-Card Pick-up Challenge this week is a wonderful video from I Believe She's Amazing.  I love all of the young girls in the video … what a fabulous memory that experience will be for them.  It reminded me of my friend Diana and all of the other women in my life that cancer has taken much, much too soon.  I love the text of this Wordsworth stamp that says "Tis the privilege of friendship to talk non-sense and have her non-sense respected."

Just Us Girls challenge us to try Faith's Ink, Spray, Smash Technique this week.  I've always loved the effect, so I wanted to give it a try.  I think it's one of those things that I'll likely improve on each time I do it.  I used Ice Blue, Pale Indigo and Currant inks for my background.  This also let me play along with the Res-Q Challenge ladies who are using techniques involving water this week.

Papers are Eva from Basic Grey.  I stamped the Maroon panel with Hero Arts Flourish Pine.  The Sketch comes from the Corrosive Challenge Blog.

Never forget to let all of those wonderful women in your life know you love & appreciate them.
