Timeless Wonderland

The talented ladies at Gingersnap Creations are hosting an Alice in Wonderland Blog Hop, so I had to break out my Artistic Outpost Wonderland Collage set and play along.  I used this week's CPS Sketch for my layout and Capella & Manila Designer Papers from Basic Grey.

When I was trying to decide how I wanted to color my image, I remembered the Nail Polish Challenge from Everything But the Kitchen Sink, so I broke out my OPI Suzi & the Lifeguard polish and added some shimmering pink to the flower and small vase element in the collage.  I colored the rabbit and shaded around the edges with Prismacolor Pencil.

I finished with several stamped clocks and the last of my favorite Zva Creative Flourishes.  To make the hands for the clock, I bent out the prongs on a copper brad.

This card also works for the Cinema Saturday Challenge ~ Alice in Wonderland, for the Crazy Amigos Challenge & for the Etsy Inspired Challenge for these fabulous Alice in Wonderland Fabric Buttons (yes, I know … I can't get enough of those cute buttons) … lots of people lovin' Alice this week.

ok, there are a LOT of alice-based artworks and cards out there at the moment, but this might be my favorite one EVER! (ok…well….mebbe tied with the ones you did for AO in april…those were completely awesome too!)
i really ♥love♥ how this one “flows” tho–all of the images are distinct, and yet they are also very much parts of the whole that sort of glide into each other. ok, that makes NO SENSE but i do think this is an especially gorgeous piece of COLLAGE as well as just a downright stunning card! ♥♥♥♥♥
