Enjoy the Everyday

Greenrainbow2 This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge comes from the eco-friendly online store Green Rainbow.  My card was inspired by this Hook Board "Bike Skinny".  I loved the combination of the woodgrain background (which also worked for this week's Cards Blog Challenge) with the bicycle image.

I started by stamping the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain Background in creamy brown chalk ink on a natural card base.  Next I stamped the bicycle with basket from Artistic Outpost's A Lovely Day & a sentiment from Daisy Bucket in India ink.

I wanted to fill my basket with flowers, so I created a mask and stamped these tiny flowers from a Basic Grey Delta clear stamp set Loving You More Each Day multiple times.

I finished with a little sponging along the bottom to ground my bicycle & some tiny A Muse bling in fuchsia, purple & turquoise to decorate my blooms.

I hope you find inspiration … can't wait to see what you create.

**ETA … thanks for the tip on the one layer card challenge … I'm way behind on my blog following after traveling this week.

  2. SO cute, Stef! Wouldn’t it work for Kristina Werner’s one layer card challenge, too? (Just sayin’ you might as well add a third challenge in… although, I’m not sure when the deadline is.) 🙂
