I got an e-mail today from one of my favorite stamping stores, Stampers Ink, with Tanya offering 15% off on all pre-orders from the new Hero Arts catalog through 3pm on December 24th. If, like me, you don't live near her fabulous store, e-mail her your list, address, and a phone number to contact you, and she will ship them. Stampers Ink is also the proud new owner of Riley the Moose and will be having a new stamp release in January (and I might even have a pre-release peek to share).
My recovery from my tonsillectomy has been as bad as everyone warned me it would be. The surgeon told me today that I have almost reached "the bottom of the valley" and should be ascending soon to recovery. Thanks for all of your kind words and positive thoughts.
Here are a few of my favorite blog finds for the week:
- Flowers made from egg cartons … love the texture and gradient colors
- The Incomplete Manifesto for Growth … lots of things to think about for the new year
- Free download of vintage cuts and frames (and a 2010 calendar too)
- Another free digi-download of cute mittens and sentiments from Verve (and a contest if you create with them)
- Devil Dog Cake … chocolate + marshmallow … how could you go wrong?
- A fabulous wreath made from book pages (love that it's a romance novel)
- Love how she pieced together lots of scraps to create journal pages
- I've been watching documentaries while I've been recovering – two good ones Paper Clips and Between the Folds
- These sugar cookies sound delicious
Has anyone heard of any 52 week challenges for 2010? I really enjoyed participating in Emily's 52 Questions (even thought I failed miserably at completing it) and would like to try something this year.
Wishing you holidays filled with love & laughter.
Feel better soon!
Still sending you wishes for a quick recovery! You are in my thoughts!
Thank you for the link to the mittens download. I’ve never used a digi-stamp and I love Verve – so, nothing to lose in trying it!
Merry Christmas!
