I was thrilled to find my Honorable Mention prize from Hero Arts in the mail today … a fabulous Friendship Definition Cling background stamp… so of course I had to ink it up. Since the challenge at the Hero Arts Blog this week is to make an ATC card, I decided to give it a try. The ATC craze is one creative outlet I have yet to embrace, but after making this one, I can understand the attraction of creating on this small palette (2.5" x 3.5").
I used solid papers from the Marrakech collection from Basic Grey … I love the subtle variation in color and how they all work so well together. I was disappointed to see my newest Basic Grey sets didn't have the solid papers.
The Tree and cute little owl are from the Hero Arts Hello Tree set … I paper pieced the owl's eyes for a little contrast. The great sketch is Kazan's Sketch #36 from 2 Sketches 4 You.
