Today's Featured Stamper at SCS is minnidr (Diane), and I chose her For Hubby Card as my inspiration. I know, it's the Hero Arts Bold Flourish again … I just love this stamp. It is stamped four times on the background of this 5 x 6 1/4" card.
The Hero Arts Patterned Hearts were stamped in Maroon ink on cream cardstock. I discovered that the Martha Stewart heart punch is almost identical in size, so I was able to punch them rather than hand-cut each one. The hearts directly on the flourish seemed a bit busy to the eye, so I hand-cut a piece of vellum for the hearts to trail down.
The Hero Arts Anytime Messages sentiment was cut into a flag with a small heart at the end and a larger heart punch used to create the tail. A big thanks to Diane for the inspiration.
