This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge comes from the fabulous website of Tracy Porter. I just couldn't stop clicking through seeing all sorts of inspiration possibilities. I finally settled on this wonderful Sienna Green Short Skirt paired with the Mellifluous Blue Ruffled Tank.
I loved the color combination, the floral patterns, and those fabulous ruffles, so those are the elements I included in my inspired card.
I started with a wonderful green floral DP from Black Market Paper Society called Dolcina Cove (the smaller pattern is from the 6 inch paper pack). I stamped the flowering branch from the June 2009 Unity Kit of the Month and the bird from Hero Arts Hello Birdie onto the DP.
I water colored the branch and bird and added a bit of sparkle with a Sakura pen. the flowers are punched from Teal Core'dinations cardstock and the DP with Hero Arts flower gems in the center. I pleated a strip of the Core-dinations cardstock and attached it with strong double-side tape. I finished by adding a piece of white cotton lace.

Oh MAN! You’re killin’ me with gorgeousness. This is right up my alley with the sweet text and those colours and all the amazing details. This is another one of those “Boy, I wish that I made that!” cards. WOWza! :O)
