I thought Dawn's Color Challenge for this week would be fun to try for my niece's 17th birthday card. I combined it with this week's sketch from CPS.
The Green and Cream DP is all from Making Memories Chloe's Closet and the stamps are Hero Arts (Special Edition: Together and Design Block Wavy Leaf Pattern).
The butterfly is paper pieced from the green grid paper and then only attached in the center with a glue dot for some dimension. I added a few light green pearls for a final accent. These are colors I probably never would have combined on my own, but I love how the black just makes it all pop.
Fab card Steph and I love those colors! I do agree it’s not something I would have thought to put together either but they look fab together. I love your Image too, the whole thing.
