Arizona Vacation Photos

A final vacation post with several of my favorite photos.  You can see the entire photo gallery here if you're interested.

The Grand Canyon tour was the highlight of the trip.  It's difficult to capture the majesty and grandeur in photographs.  This is Rod and I before we settled down for a picnic lunch with our tour group at Kaibab Trail.  I was very grateful for 75 SPF sunscreen and the stampede strap on my hat … the sun rays were direct and the wind was powerful.

Another view of the Canyon.  We toured with 9 other people with a guide from Angels Gate Tours.  We were glad we had someone else to drive and show us the sites.  They picked us up and dropped us off at our B&B in Flagstaff.

We also took a private tour with a guide from Southwest Outside Adventures in Sedona.  He took us on a hike and to several lookout locations, so we could capture some great photos.  He also explained all of the desert plants.

Another Sedona view … this time from our private balcony at the Canyon Villa Bed and Breakfast Inn, which backs up to the National park lands … it doesn't get much better than this.  The service, evening snacks, and breakfast were fabulous too.

  2. Hi Steph! I think your Canyon and Sedona pictures do a great job of capturing the color and majesty of those locations! I’m glad you and your two special hobosexuals had a great time. (Hey–your spellcheck doesn’t recognize hobosexuals. What’s up with that?!)
