It actually felt like spring outside today, which was such a welcome change. I cleaned out my flower beds and enjoyed seeing all of the little sprouts of green coming up through the soil. I love having plants and flowers that come back every year.
This card is for Sharon's Stamp Simply Hang It Up! challenge. One of my favorite ways to attach sentiments is with jewelry jump rings. It is also for this week's SCS featured stamper challenge. My card is inspired by **Inge**'s Just a Note design.
I used a new stamp set from smARTworks called Purpose with Cosmo Cricket Fleuriste papers. I layered Prima blooms with flowers punched from a scrap of the background paper.

I LOVE it!! The card is gorgeous and I think your little jump ring is an ideal way to attach a little sentiment – very clever!!! I am also envious of your floral frog — I think they are wonderful and interesting ways to display cards. I’ve been meaning to pick a few up forever and I NEVER rememeber until, of couse, I see one, like here!!! LOVE this post!!! so glad you played — thanks!!!
Wonderful card! Love the silhoutte stamps. Neat idea using the jump ring-thanks for the idea. Thanks for leaving a message on my blog-appreciated.
This is really pretty, Steph! I wanted to thank you for the little “a-ha” moment, too… There have been quite a few times that I wanted to layer flowers, but didn’t have the right ‘other color’ to do it – it never even occurred to me to use a flower punch (and I have at least seven of them – DOH!) Amazing how sometimes the simplest little thing escapes us until we see someone else do it! That’s why I love snooping around everyone else’s blogs and galleries…
Love the colors on this and the great tag hanging on your ribbon!
Cool card. I too love jump rings! Way to go!
absolutely beautiful!
i love everything about this…ESPECIALLY…but not limited to: the jump ring tag/sentiment thingie!!! it reminds me of my mantra from a week or two ago: “dangly is GOOOOOOD! seek the dangly!!!” (and so i shall!!!)
