The 'Vaarks crew had a fabulous time with today's Good Knight! Challenge … to create a card with a fantasy theme. There are lots of different takes on the theme, which is one of the best things about Caardvarks challenges … the ability to interpret them with your own special flair.

My card design started with this fabulous knight illustration from a Tarot card (thanks to Lauren for sharing some of her awesome ephemera). I used DCWV Once Upon a Time papers, which worked perfectly with the vibrant colors from the illustration. I love how the texture of the gold ribbon (holiday clearance) mimics the design of the knight's chainmail and the pattern on his shield. The sentiment is from one of my favorite sets by See D's called Quotopia.
