We had such marvelous spring-like temperatures today. On thing I've realized about the harsh winters in Iowa is that it makes me appreciate spring so much more. The Hero Arts blog is appreciating spring by hosting a spring card challenge. For me spring is flowers, butterflies, and bright, vivid colors after the colorless blah of winter. I also used CPS Sketch #107.
I used more of the luscious K&Company Que Sera Sera papers with Hero Arts Design Block Outline Flowers and Special Edition: Together stamped in black and clear embossed. I cut the butterfly out of a slightly softer orange paper for a bit of dimension and contrast. I finished with some ribbon and a few adhesive gems.
Bring on spring!

Bring on spring is right…it’s been snowing, hailing, raining and windy all in the course of a couple hours…crazy weather in Washington…LOVE your card!
This goes just perfectly with that CPS sketch! I always love when you play along!

I bet that is even prettier in real life than on my screen. tfs

Wow this is just breath taking. I just love the colors and you are one inspiring lady. I wished I had 1/4 of your MOJO!
Isn’t this pretty! Love how vivid the colors are, and all the appearance of texture going on in the dsp – beautiful! Great choice of stamps with these papers, too…
