This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge comes from the whimsical website Fitz and Floyd.
I thought it would be fun to try to translate this Hoppy Days Platter into a card.
I started with a standard white cardstock top-folded card. I used the largest Creative Memories Oval cutter that would fit entirely on the front of the card, and overlapped it slightly at the top for the fold. I used a small oval punch for the ears and attached them to the back of the card.
Since my bunny will be going to a ltitle boy, I dressed him in the new All about Boys papers from DCWV. I used the same oval cutter to cut the papers and then trimmed them to fit my layout. The sentiment is from Hampton Arts for Studio G.
I free-handed the face with a black sharpie and hand-cut the bow tie. I finished with Pink Poinsettia Shimmerz Glitter Paint for his cheeks and ears.
I hope you find inspiration … and enjoy the weekend.
This is just to cute and love this paper. This little boy will just love this card.
Cute card-love the plaid paper and the platter.
What a great idea Stephanie! I love Fitz and Floyd. You have done a great job with the bunny! Great inspiration. Thanks for the cool idea!
