Let it Snow …

I'm should be working on a design project with a deadline, but instead I can't seem to get all of those weekend challenge ideas out of my head.  This card came together in my mind, so I had to get it down on paper.

The card combines the OCC challenge to use two shades of blue an a neutral (a big shout out to Julia on her stint as guest designer); Sharon's Stamp Simply challenge to make a winter card (after the big dump of white stuff this weekend, I've got snow on the brain); the Share Your Spark Friday challenge to add some bling to your design (there are tiny bits of light blue bling in my snowy sky); and CPS Sketch #99

This shimmery snowflake paper is Snow Dreams by Heidi Grace Designs for Fiskars.  I love this Let It Snow stamps from Inkadinkado (Jacksonbelle has it on sale).  I stamped it in blue, clear embossed, and then painted the trees with Silver Bells Shimmerz glitter paint & added the tiny bits of blue bling to the snow in the sky.

I wrapped some shimmery blue ribbon around my card (4" x 8") and attached the panels with foam tape.  My favorite new ribbon trick when I want the ribbon tails to go the opposite direction of my wrap is to tie a double knot.

Thanks to everyone for the inspiration.
