This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge comes from the fabulous creations of Block Party Press.
I loved this ring called Would You Love Me (I grew up in a home filled with puns, so I couldn't resist). I loved the woodgrain design with the pop of the red heart. She also has the same design in a magnet set.
I used Core'dinations Black Magic Cardstock embossed with the Cuttlebug Forest Branches Embossing Folder. I used my trusty foam sanding block to bring out the design in the core of the cardstock.
I used my 4" circle cutter from Creative Memories to cut out the card. The heart with wings stamp from the Dollar Tree (thanks sis) was stamped twice in ColorBox Charcoal Chalk Ink on red and white cardstock and clear embossed. I cut out both and layered them to attach to the card front.
Remember, you have until midnight on December 20th to upload your best cards made with no designer paper for the Caardvarks Core Concepts Challenge. The prize package is $55 worth of fabulous Core'dinations Cardstock. You can check out the Flickr Gallery to see all of the cardstock creations.
Wow! Such a great take on the inspiration ring {which btw is very coolio}…
i love it! great use of a thrifty gift!
A really wonderful creative card and thanks for the link to your inspiration too! Also, Stephanie, I am getting ready to post your card. it was pretty on your blog and in person it is just gorgeous. My daughter fell in love with it too.
Can you tell me where you got your clever stamp on the back of your card?
Ilove how the red pops up!
