Here's a fun little question & answer list from my friend Lauren:

Welcome to the 2008 edition of getting to know your friends! Try not to be lame and spoil the fun! If you get tagged, copy this entire survey and paste into your own blog, change all of the answers so that they apply to you. Then visit the profiles of some of your friends and "Tag" them by simply leaving a comment, asking them to visit your blog, and state that they have been Tagged! The theory is that you will learn a lot of little things about your friends that you might not have known! Some of you may get tagged several times, so they can always refer back to your blog for your answers.

1. What time did you get up this morning? 6:22 am.  I hit the snooze once.
2. Diamonds or pearls? neither really … I prefer handmade beaded creations or colored stones
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Burn After Reading
4.What is your favorite TV show? CBS Sunday Morning
5. What do you usually have for breakfast? spinach and egg casserole or hulled barley with soy milk
6. What food do you dislike? lima beans
7. What is your favorite CD at the moment? Bound to Be Mountains by Rachel Garlin
8. Favorite sandwich? BLT with fresh garden tomatoes
9. What characteristic do you despise? intolerance
10. Favorite item of clothing? Dansko Navy Patent Leather Clogs
11. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? Finland
12. Favorite brand of clothing? No real favorite … I get my wrinkle-free dress pants from Christopher & Banks
13. Where would you retire to? We're still trying to decide that.  Probably near a large city that has all four seasons.
14. What was your most recent memorable birthday? On my 40th birthday, my dad came to Iowa and spent the weekend with me.  We had a wonderful time.
15. Favorite sport to watch? baseball … go Cardinals
16. Furthest place you are "tagging" this? as far as it can go
17. Person you expect to send it back first? no real expectations
18. Are you a morning person or a night person? morning … I start winding down about 4pm
19. What is your shoe size? 9
20. Pets? None for me … I'm dependent-free
21. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share with us? most of my holiday cards are in the mail
22. What did you want to be when you were little? a journalist
23. How are you today? pooped … getting ready to head to bed
24. What is your favorite candy? dark chocolate sea salt caramels
25. What is your favorite flower? wildflowers or gerbera daisies
26. What is a day on the calendar you are looking forward to? January 1st … I love fresh starts
27.What are you listening to right now? the joy of silence
28. What was the last thing you ate? grilled scallops
29. Do you wish on stars? occasionally
30. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? I always liked Prussian Blue
31. How is the weather right now? snowy and cold

33. Favorite soft drink? Sonic Diet Vanilla Dr. Pepper with extra ice
34. Favorite restaurant? Biaggi's … grilled calamari and a wedge salad with the dressing on the

36. What was your favorite toy as a child? I liked activity toys … my easy back oven, pot holder weave
