Amazing Paper Grace Inspired

Today's SCS Featured Stamper is Becca Feaken (Becca Stamps) of Amazing Paper Grace.  I've loved Becca's work since she first started sharing with the world … she is the master of the Nestabilities die cuts.

FS91wm One of the Featured Stamper rules is not to use a Sketch Challenge Card for your inspiration … and I seem to have a knack for always choosing a sketch card, and not realizing it until I am ready to post.  The first card I did was inspired by Becca's SC193 card Remembering 911.

I needed to do a masculine card with my Stampers Anonymous Always Remember stamp, and her taller version of the sketch worked perfectly.  The card also needed to be mailed using standard postage, so I replaced the ribbons with a Martha Stewart punched border.

I finished with three white brads, Autumn Leaves Sentiment Circles, and a 2" scalloped circle double-punched for a medallion effect.

So, since I failed to follow the rules with my first card, I had to do a second.

This card was inspired by Becca's Bird Call ~ New Cuttlebug design.  Her fabulous Fabriano watercolor paper (I need to get some of that) was replaced with a wonderful shimmery white cardstock.

The sentiment is studio G, and the colors are Brocade Blue and Night of Navy.  I colored my bird using Chalk Inks and a Blender Pen.  The dew drops were swapped for a coordinating game.

Thanks Becca for all of your truly Amazing Inspiration.
