Today’s featured stamper is Shannon (E3Stamper) from Hoppy Creations. I realized after I had completed my Frightful and Delightful card, that Shannon’s card I was inspired by (Best Blossoms Perhaps) was actually a SCS Sketch card (which means I was actually inspired by the sketch she used, rather than her own original creation), so I did a second card inspired by one of her original designs.
I thought this sketch would be great for these $1 stamps from Michael’s that I’ve had for several years. I used Basic Grey Ambrosia DP for the entire card. The four images were stamped in Charcoal ColorBox ink and clear embossed. I used Sakura sparkle pen and Spica Glitter Pens to add a touch of color.
The images were punched with the Giga Scalloped Square punch and then matted on 2" black squares.
I tied the black twill ribbon around the bottom of the card with one loop and then laid a piece of orange ribbon on top of the tails, to tie it into the knot.
So here’s my "official" featured stamper card. I was inspired by Shannon’s Happy Holidays card.
Since I’m always looking for opportunities to get more holiday cards finished early, I decided to stay with the holiday theme. Yesterday, I found this great fuzzy flocked snowflake paper (that I got for cheap on after-Christmas clearance last year at Archivers), and I thought it would be perfect for this larger card layout (finished card is 4" x 7").
I added some Silver Bazzill Bling cardstock down the side with some clear adhesive gems.
Both the Stamps Happen Jolly Snowman and Stampin’ Up Cute and Curly label are stamped with Memento London Fog and clear embossed. I had trouble getting a solid coverage on the label with the Memento ink, but I decided I liked the sort of textured effect I got with embossing. I colored the snowman with more glitter markers.
Enjoy the day!
These are both fabulous!! Love the colors and papers!!
FUN cards..I love that snowman..whenever I see it, makes me smile 🙂
