Jacksonbelle Embellishments is having a sketch contest for the month of September. She will be posting a new sketch each Tuesday & sketch entries need to feature new Inkadinkado images. Since I have a few of those in my stash, I thought I would give it a try.
I started with this Turquoise Velvet Dots paper from The Paper Company (in my ongoing quest to use things I’ve been hoarding). I went to the Color Combination Tool to decide on my color combo (Taken with Teal, Chocolate Chip, and Cameo Coral). The butterflies from Patterned Bugs were stamped in dark brown and and clear embossed.
The Duet image was stamped in dark brown, clear embossed, and watercolored using Marvy markers and Shimmerz Angel Wing glitter paint. The sentiment is from Bird Assortment. I wanted more of the butterflies to show in the design, so I used a circle punch to trim away the corner.
We’re on vacation this week, so I won’t have any studio time. I’ll update the blog with travel pictures when I return. Enjoy the week!
