Name That Tuna

The August 20th Challenge at Caardvarks is Name That Tuna … to make a card with a Musical Theme.  The winner of this fun challenge will win a $25 gift certificate from the Scrapbook Express … and what a fabulous selection of products they have.

My card is 5 1/2" square and features vintage sheet music.  The sentiment is from Stamp Oasis and is stamped on a scrap of the margin the aged music paper.  The sheet music element was actually on the back cover of some music where there were small samples of various songs.  This one is titled "Oh Lady! Stop Rolling Your Eyes," which I thought was perfect for this sentiment.

The DP is from K&Company Margo Collection, which has the flying musical bird.  I used a Sakura Sparkle pen to highlight the stitches around the edges & to draw a few musical notes around the bird.

The floral flourish is from Fancy Pants From the Garden stamped in ColorBox Chalk Dark Brown and accented with ivory pearls.  I also added pearls to the corners of the sentiment, which is mounted on dimensional tape.
