Bird-N-Crown Thank You

I have always loved giving gifts … even more than I like receiving them.  I love the feeling of finding something that I know will be absolutely perfect for the people dear to me in my life.  I even have a ‘gift closet’ in my home where I keep all of the fun things that I have found.  Sometimes I save them for birthdays and holidays … other times I send them ‘just because’.

On my Chicago Road trip, I found some Autumn Leaves stamps at Scrapaganza! that just screamed … we should be living at Lauren’s house … so of course I had to oblige their wishes and bring them home.

So today in my mailbox, I received the ‘first of many’ bird and crown cards created by dear Lauren with the stamps that now live at her house.  How adorable is this card … I tell you, it’s impossible to capture all of the amazing detail … rub-ons, glitter, layers, faux stitching … and of course, lots of shiny bling.

And she even thought to stamp on the inside flap of the envelope (why haven’t I ever thought of that??).  What a wonderful little treat when you open it up.
