Since I did Kazan’s sketch, I had to give Laura’s a try (both found on the new blog 2 Sketches 4 You). I loved the vertical orientation of the design.
I got this new Fiskars Mat Stack called Old Fashioned Flowers by Kimberly Poloson in the mail today, so that is where I started. I decided on this circular image by Magenta (they don’t have names on their stamps, so I have no idea what to call it). It sort of reminded me of a compass, so that led me to my Explore Epoxy sticker (tip for using epoxy stickers … when they get old, the edges start to curl up … just give the sticker a couple of quick shots with a heat gun to flatten it out and adhere the sticker to your project).
I stamped and embossed the Magenta image twice, and popped up the flower in the center for a little dimension. I used my Giga Circle punch and then sponged around the edges. I finished with a tiny bit of twinkle in the center. Thanks ladies for another great sketch.

I like this!!!!! It is very cool. Joan
